As a self-taught artist born and raised in Zimbabwe, wildlife and its conservation has always featured prominently in my work. I like to paint narrative pieces, getting the viewer to think about the story involved even if that should be a hard-hitting message.

I work mainly to commission, including domestic animals and portraiture, as well as having exhibited both in Zimbabwe and in Suffolk, England where I now live. My main mediums are pastel, pencil and watercolour. I have twice been a finalist in the PAWS competition run by Roy Chaffin and I am a member of the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation and SAA.

I was honoured in 2010 to be accepted as an Associate Member of the Royal Society of Miniature Painters, Sculptors and Gravers and in 2013 was elected as a full member. Also in that year I was selected as a shortlisted finalist for David Shepherd's Wildlife Artist of the Year. My work has been exhibited successfully at the Mall Galleries in London.
